It is mainly used to bear radial load. While bearing radial load, it can also bear a small amount of axial load, but generally cannot bear pure axial load. Its limit speed is lower than that of deep groove ball bearings.

This type of bearing is mostly used on dual-support shafts that are prone to bend under load, and in parts where strict coaxiality cannot be guaranteed by double bearing holes, but the relative inclination of the centerline of the inner ring and the centerline of the outer ring shall not exceed 3 degree.

Self-aligning ball bearings are suitable for industries such as heavy loads and shock loads, precision instruments, low-noise motors, automobiles, motorcycles, metallurgy, rolling mills, mining, petroleum, papermaking, cement, sugar extraction, and general machinery.
