Calcium-based grease is a medium-viscosity mineral lubricating oil thickened with calcium soap made of animal and vegetable oils (synthetic fatty acids for synthetic calcium-based grease) and lime, and water is used as a peptizer. It is mainly used for the lubrication of rolling bearings of various industrial and agricultural machinery such as automobiles, tractors, water pumps, small and medium-sized motors, and parts that are easy to contact with water or moisture. Because calcium-based grease is mainly used in a compression cup, it is also called “cup fat”. Rolling bearings with a speed below 3000r/min can generally be used.
No. 1 is suitable for centralized grease feeding system and friction groove of automobile chassis, and the maximum operating temperature is 55°C.
No. 2 is suitable for rolling bearings of general medium-speed, light-load, small and medium-sized machinery (such as motors, water pumps and blowers), lubricating parts such as hub bearings and clutch bearings of automobiles and tractors, and the corresponding lubricating parts of various agricultural machinery. The highest operating temperature It is 60°C.
No. 3 is suitable for bearings of various medium-sized machinery with medium load and medium speed. The maximum operating temperature is 65°C.
No. 4 is suitable for heavy-duty, low-speed heavy machinery and equipment, with a maximum operating temperature of 70°C.
Good water resistance, not easy to emulsify and deteriorate in contact with water, and can be used in humid environments or in contact with water. It has good shear stability and thixotropy stability, with little oil separation during storage. Has good pumpability.
(1) High dropping point and good heat resistance. Composite calcium-based grease can withstand higher temperatures than calcium-based grease. Because composite calcium-based grease does not use water as a stabilizer, it avoids the disadvantage of calcium-based grease that is not resistant to high temperatures.
(2) It has a certain degree of water resistance and can work in a humid environment or in contact with water.
(3) It has better mechanical stability and colloidal stability, and can be used in higher-speed rolling bearings.
